**Responsibilities**

+ Spray paints vehicles, special weapons items, guided missile systems, and related equipment using enamel, lacquer, and vinyl materials for protection and appearance.
+ Applies specialty coatings such as crinkle finishes, nonskid, rubber coatings, and fluorescent touch-up paint for black light effects.
+ Sprays multiple colors in irregular patterns to create camouflage finishes on exterior surfaces.
+ Mixes, thins, and adjusts paints with dryers or flattening agents to ensure proper finish and thickness.
+ Fills spray tanks, adjusts spray guns, and maintains proper air pressure during operations.
+ Applies stencils, silk screens, and decals where cosmetic appearance, accuracy, and legibility are critical.
