  JOB SUMMARY 
 : Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties in the preparation, application, selection of surface coverings for all buildings, equipment and facilities.
  JOB SPECIFICATIONS: 
  EDUCATION 
 High school graduate/Apprenticeship Program or equivalent
  EXPERIENCE 
 General construction
 Surface preparations
   PREREQUISITE SKILLS 
 Application techniques for all walls, floors and ceilings
  LICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION: 
 Current, valid California class C Driver’s License with no violations within the past (3) years.
  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
   ESSENTIAL  (not modifiable)
 Applies coats of paint, varnish, stains, or enamels to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of the hospital, using paintbrushes, rollers, scrapers
