Painter

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proven experience as a painter in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
• Knowledge of painting materials, techniques, and surface preparation
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling cracks or holes
• Apply paint, varnish, enamel, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and textures
• Protect furniture, floors, and fixtures with drop cloths or masking tape
• Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
