Job Description
Summary About the Position: In this position, you will serve as a journey level painter at the John Day/Willow Creek Project, a large multipurpose hydroelectric facility. You will paint project facilities and equipment such as switchboards, oil storage tanks (inside and outside), piping, power generation equipment, air compressors, cranes, mitre gates, spillway gates, intake gates, bulkheads, machine shop equipment, powerhouse interiors, offices, service building, signs and other items on the project. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces to be covered with protective coatings. Apply a variety of paints, stains, varnishes, and enamels. Use a variety of tools to include brushes, rollers, and air spray equipment. Mix colors and use application methods to ensure new work matches existing work.
