Painting Engineer

Responsible for leading, maintenance and supervise industrial painting processes on metal parts and structures, ensuring compliance with quality standards, production timelines, environmental regulations, and safety protocols, to deliver an optimal and durable finish that meets customer specification

• Design, implement, and optimize painting processes (electrostatic, liquid, powder coating, etc.).
• Maximizing efficiencies while ensuring quality
• Optimizing paint change over process
• Establish systems for paint line (cleaning requirements, instructions, error proofing)
• Documentation development (Customer requirements, Control plan)
• Lead problem solving activities in relation to the painting process and application
• Ability to adjust/program/troubleshoot system
• Work with production department on production control and planning requirements
