Panelbeater

The purpose of this Job: 

To ensure that the work carried out in panel shop is in line with manufactures standards and completed timeously and in accordance with group requirements.

Main Job Functions

• Achieve production targets - ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly targets 
• liaise with parts buyers and stores regarding parts for the vehicles  
• Measure the car to ensure it is squared, if it is not it goes to the machine where it is jigged so that it can align.
• Jointly signing of cars with panel beater assistants.
• Check all welding and body filling.
• Ensure all vehicles are checked with Panel beaters assistants and signed off by a qualified Panelbeater.

Maintenance of housekeeping standards by ensuring that: 

• Floorspace not cluttered 
• No parts are stored in vehicles <...
