Job Description Job Description Our Client in Atlantic City, NJ seeking a fully onsite Defense Litigation Paralegal with casino/employment litigation experience! Schedule: Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm Pay: $55k -$65k Responsibilities: * Conduct legal research. * Prepare court lists weekly. * Review files prior to the attorney's court appearance. * Complete pre-trial discovery, including summarizing the following: medical records, transcripts, carrier files, wage histories, work histories, personnel records, etc. * Correspond with insurance carriers and opposing counsel, as well as medical providers, and handle HIPAA authorizations. * Draft pleadings, motions, appellate documents, and file them with the court. Maintain pleadings and discovery. * Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices. * Monitor and track court deadlines and filings.
