Park Manager 1 (NY HELPS) Jones Beach State Park

Duties Description Under the direction of the Park Manager 2, this Park Manager 1 serves as the first-line supervisor for all pool operational work units within the East and West Bathhouse pool complexes. This position is responsible for the planning, coordination, supervision, and evaluation of operational, maintenance, administrative, programmatic activities, and revenue producing functions within the pool complexes to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery to the public.

The Park Manager 1 works collaboratively with and alongside other Park Manager 1 staff who oversee operational areas throughout Jones Beach State Park to ensure consistent management practices and coordinated park-wide operations. In addition, the Park Manager 1 supervises and oversees operational and recreational facilities within their assigned areas of responsibility.
