Park Ranger East Town Park

Annualised hours per year: 780 (average 14.96 hrs per week) on a fixed rota.

Starting salary £10,508.77 per annum (pro rata for 14.96 hours per week) plus excellent employee benefits package (pay award pending).

Permanent.

Location: East Town Park, Haverhill, within the existing Ranger Service and facilitating the use of parks and open spaces within West Suffolk.

Responsibilities

• Working with volunteers on conservation, maintenance and landscaping tasks
• Patrolling parks and public open spaces
• Meeting and advising the public on the use of the facilities
• Enforcing regulations
• Promoting a customer-oriented approach
• Assisting in the running of events and activities
• Maintaining the protection and security of all the facilities and equipment within the parks, including flora, fauna and ancient monuments
