**Job Description**

**Position Summary**

This role is to removes excess metal and surface defects from parts by performing the following duties. The role requires to be accomplished within Tecomet's principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.

**Principle Responsibilities**

+ Selects abrasive belts or wheels according to the production floor traveler or Work Instruction grain size, type of finish specified, product being polished, or amount of metal to be removed.
+ Attaches wheel or belt to drive mechanism.
+ Starts equipment polisher and manipulates work piece against abrasive wheel or abrasive belt to remove metal and surface defects.
