Part-Time Day Camp Counsellor Opportunity

The YMCA of Greater Toronto is seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals as Day Camp Counsellors. Help create a safe, fun outdoor experience for children this summer!
Starting June 1, 2026, this part-time role involves supervising campers, leading activities, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. You’ll build lasting relationships with kids, staff, and the community while promoting inclusiveness and fun. Strong interpersonal skills and experience with children are vital for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate a fun and engaging camp environment
• Participate in recreational activities with campers
• Provide ongoing supervision to all camp participants
• Attend mandatory trainings and staff meetings
• Ensure maintenance of cleanliness and safety procedures
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 17 years by December 31
