Part-Time Elementary English Teacher/Tutor

We are seeking a part‑time English tutor to work at Oxford Learning Richmond Hill – Oak Ridges. The role involves teaching students in a pre‑planned curriculum, providing post‑lesson support, and maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.

Position Requirements

All teacher‑tutors work after‑school and evening hours on weekdays (3:30 pm‑8:00 pm) and some Saturdays (10:30 am‑1:30 pm). A commitment until the end of the school year is preferred. This is an in‑person role; relocation packages are not available.

Education

• University students considered
• Teaching certification an asset
• Good knowledge of the current curriculum

Experience

• Some experience teaching/tutoring preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage up to three students simultaneously
