Role Description

The part-time Arts, Humanities, and Communications faculty member is primarily responsible for delivering Outcome-Based Teaching and Learning (OBTL) in assigned courses while ensuring alignment with program outcomes, institutional values, and contemporary professional standards. Duties include preparing OBE-based instructional materials within the Learning Management System, facilitating classroom discussions, lectures, and creative or analytical activities, assessing student performance, and promoting critical thinking, communication skills, and ethical awareness through discipline-relevant applications.

Although part-time faculty instructors are not required to engage in research, they are encouraged to participate, particularly in studies related to humanities scholarship, communication practices, cultural studies, pedagogy, or creative work where their expertise can enrich academic discourse.
