Part-time Faculty, Railway Engineering

Role Description

The part-time Railway Engineering faculty member is primarily responsible for delivery of Outcome Based Teaching and Learning in assigned courses and sharing professional expertise with students in line with program requirements. Duties include preparing OBE-based course materials in a Learning Management System, delivering lectures and hands on learning where applicable, assessing student performance, and incorporating industry knowledge into classroom instruction.

Although part-time faculty instructors are not required to engage in research, they are encouraged to participate in one, as their industry experience is a rich source of information for research.

This role is ideal for industry professionals who wish to contribute to the academic formation of future engineers while continuing their practice in the profession.

The applicant must be willing to commit to teaching for at least one full semester.
