Part-Time Hospitalist Family Physician Role

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a part-time family physician for the Department of Psychiatry at the Irene & Leslie Dubé Centre for Mental Health. This role focuses on providing hospitalist services alongside mental health specialists.
You will play a vital role in delivering medical care as part of a dedicated team during flexible three-hour clinics. Your duties will include conducting medical assessments and peri-operative ECT as needed, ensuring patients receiving quality mental health care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct medical assessments for in-patient care
• Provide peri-operative ECT assessments when necessary
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
• Support the integration of medical and mental health services
• Participate in continuous education and development events
Requirements:
• Eligible for a provisional or regular licence with the college
