Part-time Security Guard

RESPONSIBILITIES

·Conduct routine patrols of campus buildings and grounds to support the safety and security of the Ridley College community

·Monitor academic buildings, residences, rentals, and event spaces to ensure appropriate access and usage

·Lock and unlock facilities in accordance with established protocols

·Respond to fire alarms, medical calls, and other emergency situations

·Support emergency procedures including evacuations, fire watch, lockdowns, and related response activities

·Enforce campus parking and traffic policies and assist with traffic management as required

·Identify, investigate, and respond to unauthorized access, suspicious activity, or safety concerns

·Interact professionally with students, staff, visitors, and community members, providing customer service and campus support

·Serve as a visible, approachable security presence and assist with special events and after‑hours activities
