Job Description
Optimize inventory as a Parts Inventory Specialist with Toromont Material Handling. This full-time role focuses on improving inventory turnover and service level performance in Eastern Canada.
In this strategic position, you will report to the Director of Parts and Warehouse and influence branch operations and inventory management daily. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Engineering, five years of heavy equipment parts experience, and advanced Excel skills. Your role will facilitate effective inventory planning, emergency order sourcing, and managing returns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels for optimal turnover
• Recommend strategies to enhance distribution effectiveness
• Process quarterly excess returns to suppliers
• Manage emergency orders while providing ETAs
