Pastoral Support Officer - Commonwealth

Contract Period: From 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.
Working hours:
. Mondays to Fridays: 9:00am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
. Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Services:
Plays a key role within the Student Management Committee in supporting students with additional needs, including guiding students presenting behavioural issues. This work is done in close partnership with School Leaders and Middle Managers in the Student Development Team, as well as with teachers, the Student Manager, and Student Development Officer.
1. Support School's Student Management and Development Operations
. Lead investigations into cases of student misconduct.
. Recommend and implement follow-up actions formisconduct in line with school policy, with application of Restorative Practice.
. Support teachers in managing students' behavioural and peer relationship issues, including coaching of students.
