Pastry Chef (Expat/Local)

Our client is a 5* boutique resort with +/- 100 rooms and multiple F&B outlets on an idyllic beach on a tropical island in Philippines.

This role will be reporting directly to the Executive Chef.

For this position, both Expats and Filipino Nationals are being considered.

Profile

• Culinary school background
• Strong foundation in luxury boutique hotels and/or high end pastry shops or (semi) fine dining restaurants
• Strong international experience
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Ability to use new and modern techniques
• Artistic ability to produce eye catching pastries and desserts
• Having a “whatever it takes” attitude
• Creative, innovative
• Out of the box approach to food
• Familiar with budgeting and costing
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and safety standards
