About the role
The Pastry Chef is responsible for leading and managing all pastry and bakery operations in a 5-star hotel environment, ensuring the highest standards of quality, creativity, hygiene, and consistency. This role oversees the production of desserts, breads, pastries, cakes, and chocolate work for restaurants, banquets, events, and special promotions.
The ideal candidate is a creative, hands-on leader with strong operational control, cost awareness, and experience in luxury hospitality.
What you'll be doing
Pastry & Bakery Operations
- Plan, prepare, and execute high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, cakes, and chocolate items for all outlets and banqueting.
- Ensure consistency, presentation, and taste meet 5-star hotel standards.
- Develop and update dessert menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
- Introduce seasonal, promotional, and innovative pastry offerings.
