Pastry Chef

Job Summary:

The Pastry Chef is responsible for the creation, preparation, and presentation of all baked goods, pastries, and desserts. This includes developing new recipes, ensuring consistency in quality and taste, maintaining kitchen standards, and overseeing daily pastry operations to meet the company's culinary and service standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and execute a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods in line with the menu and special events.
• Develop new and creative recipes, ensuring they meet cost control and presentation standards.
• Supervise daily pastry kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, efficiency, and adherence to food safety protocols.
• Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies; coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
