· Prepare and bake items such as bread, cakes, cookies, pastries, and specialty desserts.
· Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
· Monitor ingredient and supply inventory levels and inform supervisors when restocking is needed.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, including equipment, utensils, and storage spaces.
· Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations, such as temperature control and proper handling of ingredients.
· Work with other kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules and meet order deadlines.
· Help develop new pastry items or modify existing recipes as directed.
· Package finished products properly for display or delivery.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or pastry arts certification is a plus.
