Patch Management Engineer

Job Purpose

To provide support for Patch management for Windows Operating Systems, servers and workstations.

Responsibilities

The Engineer is responsible for:

• Patch management: coordination, planning and tracking
• Perform patching and updates on Windows Operating system via MECM or manually either for server or workstation
• MECM Management: MECM infra management, schedule deployment
• WSUS Management: download patch, schedule deployment
• Audit Management: planning, remediation and tracking

Principal Accountabilities

• Patch management
  • Schedule monthly patch for non-production and production servers (physical or VM)
  • Schedule monthly patch for workstations
  • Liaise with application team on the plan date
  • Follow up with application team on SIT/UAT sign off
