About the Role

We place South African admitted attorneys into international law firms. This position supports UK and US patent attorneys with patent prosecution and portfolio administration for global clients in technology, engineering, life sciences, and software sectors.

This is a structured, non-litigation role focused on accuracy, deadlines, and documentation rather than court work.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file patent applications and formal documents (USPTO/UKIPO/EPO)
• Draft correspondence to patent offices and foreign associates
• Manage deadlines, docketing, and renewals
• Assist with office action responses and amendments
• Prepare Information Disclosure Statements (US)
• Coordinate international (PCT) filings
