JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Pathology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Charleston, WV Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Aug 31, 2026 Nov 30, 2026 Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 8a 5p PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census: 140 cases/day Case Mix: All types, frozen specimens, FNA REQUIRED PROCEDURES Frozen specimens FNA (Fine Needle Aspiration) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform pathology case reviews and diagnoses Handle frozen specimens Perform fine needle aspirations (FNA) in collaboration with interventional radiology Manage a daily volume of approximately 140 cases Work Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with no call responsibilities
