Patient Billing

Overview:
We are hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Billing & Copay Specialist to support our billing team. The ideal candidate must have experience using WellSky, be comfortable calling patients to collect copays, and possess excellent English communication skills. This role is essential for maintaining a smooth revenue cycle and building positive relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Call patients to notify and collect insurance copays after visits.
• Clearly and professionally explain billing and insurance details to patients.
• Accurately document all calls and updates within WellSky and other billing systems.
• Follow up on outstanding balances and maintain timely communication with patients.
• Assist with billing tasks such as posting payments, submitting claims, and verifying coverage.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and company privacy policies.
