Reporting to the Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing, you are responsible for the maintenance of a clean, orderly, and safe environment and the performance of patient care under the supervision of the Registered / Enrolled Nurse.

Responsibilities:

• Keep active measures to ensure the safety of patients under supervision of the Registered Nurse as required.
• Actively attend to the patients self-care needs including elimination, nail and oral hygiene maintenance.
• Assist with mobility needs of patients as well as transfer and mobilise the patient as required.
• Assist as van escort helping patients to and fro from the Hospice.
• Measure and record patient's weight, temperature and blood pressure as required.
