Patient Care Lab Technician Role

In this role, you will be responsible for greeting patients and ensuring they follow necessary test protocols for specimen collection. You will conduct various specialized tests and maintain strong relationships with clients. Flexibility in your availability is essential, as well as delivering compassionate patient service in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients and collect required information
• Conduct tests such as phlebotomies and ECGs
• Complete special test collections and documentation
• Answer patient inquiries and follow up as needed
• Prepare specimens for accurate testing and transportation
Requirements:
• Laboratory Assistant program graduate preferred
• Experience in phlebotomy is an asset
