Patient Care Technician - Alliant Specialty Acute Care Hospital - Days

Job Summary

Works under direct supervision of a licensed nurse providing patient care in the clinical setting. Cares for a group of assigned patients with various needs to ensure safe, high-quality care is delivered. Care includes but is not limited to providing the patient’s daily needs such as hygiene, mobility, nutrition, toileting, ensuring safety measures are in place, communicating with the patient and care team, and documenting care. Additional skills include urinary catheter insertion/removal, IV reseal removal, suprapubic catheter care, telemetry lead placement, and ostomy care/maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 months acute care experience; or 1‑year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or successful completion of a BayCare‑sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT Internship; or completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN); or Nursing Foundation (LPN) Programs; or EMT certification/Paramedic license for ER only; or completion of a PCT or Nursing...
