Patient Care Technician (Day/Night) - Emergency Department

This position will work rotating, 12-hour day and night shifts (6am or 6pm start times), every other weekend and every other holiday.

As a Patient Care Technician with UPMC, you'll have a meaningful impact in the care of our patients every day. We offer training for qualified candidates to learn and demonstrate the skills needed to be a successful Patient Care Technician. Preferred candidates will have at least 1 year of Emergency Department, Emergency Medicine, or prehospital experience.

Responsibilities:

+ Provides patient care including assisting with patient procedures and activities of daily living. Assists with physical, respiratory and cardiopulmonary therapies. Provides feedback to the RN regarding patient care and reports changes in patient status.
