Job Description
Make an impact as a Patient Education Coordinator at the Odette Cancer Centre. Lead efforts in enhancing patient education resources and managing digital content.
Reporting to the Manager of Patient and Family Education, this role is dedicated to optimizing the e-Care system and supporting the launch of a new patient portal. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive patient education materials and training volunteers in educational programs. This position also entails participating in committees to promote effective knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and improve e-Care patient education materials
• Audit digital content to ensure alignment with standards
• Develop tools for patient education and training
• Provide patient education within the PEARL and digital platforms
• Support operations in the Patient Education Learning Centre
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor’s in Health Sciences or equivalent
