**Job Description**

**UW Medicine Insurance Eligibility and Financial Counseling Services Team (IECS)** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Patient Financial Counselor - Front Desk Patient Support** .

**WORK SCHEDULE**

+ 40% FTE (16 hours per week)
+ Variable Shift
+ Onsite position at Harborview Medical Center

**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**

+ Act as patient advocate, independently review patient concerns for appropriate action, provide scheduling for counseling with funding options; perform work that supports the patient financial services and patient relations goals of the hospital
+ Provide prompt and courteous insurance clearance service using your excellent communication skills with internal and external customers
+ Be a part of a team dedicated to supporting UW Medicine where Patients Are First
