Patient Service Officer (Inpatient Ward)

The Patient Service Officer (PSO) provides clerical, administrative, and reception support to ensure smooth ward operations. Working closely with nurses and other healthcare staff, the PSO helps maintain accurate patient records, supports clinical processes, and delivers quality service to patients and their families.
Responsibilities .
Maintain records of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. .
Prepare route charts/forms for admissions and discharges. .
Assist nurses with scheduling procedures, updating patient movement, and filing investigation results. .
Arrange discharge follow ‑ up appointments with clinics or hospitals. .
Ensure accurate charging of services and consumables before discharge. .
Manage ward inventories, requisitions, and stock counts using SAP system. .
Handle messages, telephone calls, and concierge services (mail, newspapers, flowers). .
Maintain nursing station cleanliness and order supplies. .
