Patient Services Specialist (Center for Developmental Behavioral Health)

**Overview**



The **Patient Services Specialist** performs routine front-end clinical operational activities, such as registering/checking in patients, cashiering, gathering and providing appropriate information, collecting co-pays, and answering the phones under the direction of more senior staff. The incumbent will interact with patients, families, clinicians, administrative staff, and third-party payers and provide customer service in a courteous and professional manner.



**Responsibilities**



1. Collect co-pays, provide receipts, and provide timely accounting for all collected cash and payments. Identify discrepancies and immediately work with the supervisor to resolve issues.

2. Obtain required information for both registration and financial documentation needed to complete the check-in process.
