FUNCTION OF THE DEPARTMENT & MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Designs, develops, and innovates globally competitive patterns in accordance with the current fashion trend and demand.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Creates grades and adjusts pattern card with final specification measurements based from the buyer's original pattern and fabric shrinkage report for different workmanship, specifications, development and production of patterns.

● Creates a digitized pattern of the apparel design showing the detailed outlines of its parts and features and make rule table for pattern grading and alterations.

● Determines the best layout of pattern pieces to minimize waste of material and mark fabric for the development and production of samples.

● Attends meetings and consultations related to the development and production of fittings for samples; Work also with sample room related to construction based off patterns.
