Job Description
Job Purpose
Processing and verification of payment vouchers including claims, commissions, vendor payments, reinsurance payments, and administrative expenses.
Ensuring all payments are supported by proper approvals and complete documentation in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
Preparation of payment schedules for bank transfers, cheques, and online transactions.
Coordination with Claims, Underwriting, HR, Administration, and Branches for payment-related matters.
Recording and reconciliation of payment entries in the accounting system.
Monitoring outstanding payables and ensuring timely settlement.
Assisting in bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
Ensuring compliance with withholding tax, sales tax, and other regulatory requirements.
Assisting internal and external auditors by providing payment records and supporting documentation.
