Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer (12-Month Contract)

We're looking for a part-time, Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer on a 12-month maternity-cover contract. This role aims to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for Healthengine employees and to manage the payment of invoices and expenses incurred by Healthengine, in line with purchasing guidelines. 

This part-time position offers 30 hours per week, working across 4 or 5 days. 

Responsibilities

Payroll Responsibilities:

• Owning the Payroll function, including processing the monthly payroll for up to 88 employees including superannuation, payroll tax, PAYG and salary sacrifice payments
• Ensure compliance with relevant Australian laws, regulations and awards related to payroll, taxation, superannuation, and other statutory requirements 
• Generating payroll reports as required including end-of-year payroll reporting
