Payroll Specialist – Point of Care Division

This role is based at Abbott’s Ottawa office within the Point of Care division and requires on-site presence four days per week, with the option to work remotely one day. The position reports directly to the Payroll Manager and is part of the HR Team, supporting approximately 700 employees at our largest manufacturing site in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely semi‑monthly payroll processing.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and employees to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Manage payroll changes including hires, promotions, leaves, and terminations.
• Administer benefits, pension, stock plans, and taxable benefits.
• Reconcile payroll data from ADP, Workday, and Kronos to ensure compliance.
• Support audits, reporting, and year‑end processes (T4s, CRA, WSIB, EHT).
• Enhance and automate payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
