Job Description
- Review daily and weekly timesheets to ensure correct prevailing wage labor codes , classifications, and fringe benefit allocations.
- Verify hours worked, job classifications, and project assignments for accuracy and compliance.
- Identify discrepancies or misclassifications and coordinate corrections with employees, supervisors and/or project managers.
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports (e.g., WH‑347, state‑specific forms) accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain documentation required for public works compliance, including wage determinations, apprenticeship records, and fringe benefit statements.
- Ensure payroll records meet requirements under the Davis‑Bacon Act , state prevailing wage laws, and project‑specific mandates.
