Job Description
The Payroll Specialist is mainly responsible in the processing of payroll. He/She is also responsible in providing payroll-related reports needed by internal and external clients.
Responsibilities
Handles timekeeping of time and attendance, additional earnings and deductions for process inclusion
Handles leave management and special processing, including severance calculation for payroll year-to-date updating
Generates proof list, validation of transaction posting, correction and closing of entries (regular and off-cycle runs)
Collates transactions submitted by HR/projects for processing and/or adjustment
Reconciles payroll prior to transmission and validated confirmed reports
Calculates appropriate partial payments for new hires, terminated employees and individuals with a change of standard
hours due to leave of absence or unpaid time off
Assists with month-end closing and various payroll filing
Generates/prints reports as needed for sending to c...
