**Job Summary and Qualifications**

PBX operators answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate destination.

**What you will do in this role:**

+ Demonstrates an excellent service attitude and acts quickly to diffuse any concerns and ensures customer satisfaction.
+ Communicate effectively with customers, visitors and staff through managing on-call schedules, overhead pages, and answering calls in a timely manner.
+ Demonstrates knowledge and ability to maintain privacy and security of Privileged Health Information (PHI).
+ Forwards calls to correct recipients and contacts.
