Job Description

Description: Type of Work: Full Time. Clinic Hours: Mon-Friday 8am-5pm.

Main Duties

• Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
• Act as a consultant to other medical practitioners
• Prescribe and administer medicals and treatments
• Refer patients for surgery
• Diagnose and treat diseases
• Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ health
• Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Manitoba
• Must be a good member in good standing with the Canadian Medical Protective Association
