About the Position
Island Health has an opportunity for a full‑time Pediatrician in the community at Cowichan District Hospital.
The Cowichan District Hospital is a 148‑bed acute care facility located in Duncan, BC. The hospital offers a collegial atmosphere among general and specialty medical staff.
Members are affiliated with the University of British Columbia’s Island Medical Program and provide teaching to medical students and residents.
Qualifications
Must hold FRCPC, be FRCPC eligible, and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons.
License prerequisites: Current CPSBC License, CMPA Membership (Provisional or full). Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) Eligible.
Start Date
As soon as possible.
Remuneration and Incentives
- Relocation costs up to $15,000
- Recruitment incentive: $10,000
- Fee premium: 4.20%
