Pediatric Physician Locums Job Outpatient Clinic with Nursery Coverage

Coverage Duration: August Dates and Ongoing

Schedule: Clinic schedule with shared call responsibilities, 1 night of call per week and 1 weekend per month

Patient Load: Approximately 20 patients per day in clinic, Average of 1 newborn admission per day

Position Details:
Outpatient pediatric clinic setting with newborn nursery coverage
Call shared among pediatrician, NP, and Family Medicine physician
Attendance at C-sections required when requested by OB provider
No ICU, critical care, or ER backup responsibilities
Routine well child exams and vaccinations required
Minor procedures include circumcisions, ear irrigation, minor suturing, and point-of-care testing
Onsite lab services available
Support staff includes 1 physician, 1 FNP, and 4 nurses/MAs
