Peer Specialist

Under the supervision of a Residential/Day program supervisor, the Peer Specialist will work a maximum of 30 bi-weekly hours participating in specific and limited activities that supports the Agency's Individuals in OPWDD group homes and day programs. Shift Worked: Varied Weekly Hours: Varied FLSA Status: Non Exempt Pay range: 16.50 Job Responsibilities Support group homes and day programs with errand assistance as designated by the Residential/Day Program Supervisor. Accompany persons supported to appointments and activities as assigned. Engage with persons supported to aid in socialization and relationship building. Performs limited tasks within scope as assigned. Requirements A recipient of supported employment services. Demonstrated work experience in competitive employment/voluntary work.
