Job Description

We have an exciting relief full-time opportunity for a Peer Support Worker II to join the Mental Health Substance Use (MHSU) Youth Intensive Case Management (ICM) team located at the Kiro Wellness Centre in Trail, B.C. This relief position is until April 1, 2026 or return of the incumbent.

Interior Health and our partner agencies provide a range of mental health and substance use services for all ages. We strive to ensure that our services are welcoming of all peoples, gender identities, cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds.

Who are we looking for:

The successful applicant will bring both lived experience of mental health and/or substance use recovery and the ability to use that experience in a purposeful, professional, and supportive way. The ideal candidate has peer support training, strong communication and advocacy skills, and the ability to engage respectfully with clients facing complex and sometimes crisis-driven challenges.
