Penetration Testing Trainee

Assist in conducting web, network, mobile, and infrastructure penetration testing under supervision.

Perform reconnaissance and information gathering using open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques.

Identify vulnerabilities using automated tools and manual testing techniques.

Help validate vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, authentication flaws, and misconfigurations.

Support exploitation attempts in controlled environments following ethical guidelines.

Document findings, proof-of-concept (PoC), and remediation recommendations.

Assist senior pentesters in red team exercises and simulated attack scenarios.

Follow defined penetration testing methodologies (OWASP, PTES, NIST).

Maintain testing reports and update vulnerability tracking systems.
