Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant, Long Term Care

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides patient-related physical therapy activities under the direction of an on-site, licensed Physical Therapist.

PTAs implement treatment programs based on the plan of care from the patient’s Physical therapy evaluation. PTAs help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and restoring physical function to individuals who are experiencing injuries, disabilities, or illnesses. PTA will closely monitor patient progress toward documented goals and responses to treatments. The Physical Therapist Assistant performs in a manner consistent with Oswego Health’s mission, policies and initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
