Job Description
+ Full-time position (1.0 FTE), 8.0 hours per day, 12 months per year
The following activities are listed as examples only and in no event shall an employee be limited to only those examples listed
+ Administers and coordinates all civil service processes for GST BOCES including processing personnel transactions
+ Ensures timely and accurate reporting to the appropriate Civil Service agency
+ Maintains compliance with Civil Service Law, rules and regulations
+ Serves as the primary resource and advisor to supervisors, administrators and human resource staff regarding civil service requirements
+ Provides clear guidance on appropriate hiring procedures, and interprets and communicates civil service rules and policies
+ Services in the teacher certification application process to those employed within the GST BOCES region
