Job Description:
Summary: The Personnel Security Specialist will provide technical expertise and interpret security policy guidance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Serve in the Adjudicator or Sponsor role for the USAccess (HSPD-12) system in order to adjudicate or sponsor PIV card requests.
+ Review and evaluate reports of investigation, security files, and other material and makes a recommendation to grant, deny, revoke, or suspend clearance eligibility for national security and public trust positions.
+ Identify & mitigate potential security and suitability concerns as applicable.
+ Assist with the preparation of adjudicative memoranda to include Statement of Reasons, Letter of Intent to Deny/Re...
